La 73sima edizione dei Primetime Emmy Awards è ormai archiviata.

Netflix è stato il grande vincitore quest’anno con 44 statuette , tra cui 10 alla cerimonia di ieri sera e 34 ai Creative Arts Emmy lo scorso fine settimana. La combinazione HBO/HBO Max è stata la successiva con 19, incluse 10 vittorie stasera, seguita da Disney+ con 14, inclusa una stasera. Apple TV+ viene dopo con 10, di cui quattro stasera. 

The Crown e The Queen’s Gambit di Netflix sono i co-leader di quest’anno con 11 Emmy ciascuno. Il Saturday Night Live della NBC è al secondo posto con otto in totale, inclusa la Comedy Sketch Series di domenica sera. Ted Lasso di Apple TV+ è stato un grande vincitore domenica sera per un totale di sette. The Mandalorian di  Disney+ ha vinto sette Creative Arts Emmy ma è stato escluso domenica sera.

Love, Death & Robots di Netflix ha  ottenuto sei vittorie, tutte lo scorso fine settimana. RuPaul’s Drag Race di VH1 ha vinto di nuovo per la Competition Series, assegnandogli cinque Emmy in totale quest’anno.

Mare di Easttown della HBO e Hacks di HBO Max hannko ottenuto tre premi a testa.

The Mandalorian e The Crown di Netflix e Disney+ sono arrivate agli Emmy con 24 nomination ciascuna. Tra le piattaforme, come al solito la lotta è stata tra HBO e Netflix, con HBO/HBO Max che ha superato il gigante dello streaming con un totale di 130-129 nomination. Disney+ ha avuto 71 nomination, seguita da NBC con 46.
